Since 1981, Pacific Rim Woodworking has offered hand-crafted, solid maple furniture at reasonable prices. They use Western Maple grown in managed forests in Washington and Oregon. To highlight the natural beauty of this distinctive hardwood, they hand-rub each piece with their own finish of beeswax and tung oil (plant source). Enduring quality and simple elegance are the hallmarks of their contemporary American style. The furniture is built entirely in Eugene, Oregon abiding by fair labor practices. **See our product information section regarding the use of under bed drawers.

Ramblin Wood, out of New Mexico, is our other manufacturer of sustainable furniture. They offer a more basic bedframe at extremely good prices! They're another small family manufacturer doing quality workmanship for the right reasons! They source their wood in the U.S. and follow fair labor practices. Ramblin Wood manufactures quality platform bed frames and furniture in Albuquerque, New Mexico. All of their furniture is manufactured from sustainably-harvested Appalachian red oak, and white hard maple. They use a non-toxic linseed oil finish that is completely free of VOCs and heavy metal driers.
There is currently a 2-3 week lead time for Ramblin Wood bed frames.
