Organic Product Catalog > PILLOWS & Pillow Protectors PILLOWS & Pillow Protectors SALE on Now! All of our organic bedding is made with the purest, most natural materials. We have Organic wool pillows and 100% Natural latex pillows.
The wool comes in 3 fill levels Light, Medium and Extra Fill or specialized wool pillows in contour shape and "woolley" down, meaning wool nibs that are loose and move around like down would.
The natural latex are shredded, molded or contour pillows. All are covered with the finest organic cotton material.
Wool pillows will compress by a third over time. The light fill pillows are very good for children or for those who like a very low pillow. The wool keeps it's spring even after it compresses. The only care they need is to be put in the sun which is antibacterial and aired out occasionally, spot clean with a vinegar water solution if necessary. (see our product information section for more pillow guidelines). The more you sun and air, the more the loft will be lifted. Wool is a hollow fiber and doesn't absorb moisture, so moisture sits on top of the fiber and evaporates readily. The care instructions will be with the pillow, but we like to caution, the pillow cannot be washed in the washing machine. Spot cleaning is all it will need because wool does not harbor mold, mildew or dust mites, so the spot cleaning is mainly for the organic cotton cover. We highly recommend our pillow protectors to mitigate the need for spot cleaning.
